About Murray Siegel

Murray Siegel was born and raised in Baltimore and lives in the suburbs of Washington, DC.  He received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of Maryland, where he minored in Film.  He has written a pilot for a TV series that was filmed in 1984 as well as several unproduced screenplays.  He has also written thousands of memos and emails over the last few decades while working as a marketing manager

in the promotional products industry. In 2017, he was inducted into the Chesapeake Promotional Products Association Hall of Fame. His other past jobs include positions in advertising and Marketing, as well as movie theater usher and flower delivery guy for one (Valentine’s) day. His collection of short memoirs and memes, “MurMurings: ‘Funny Tales of Terror’ and Other Desperate Cries for Help” was released in 2021.  “Cupid Wore Snow Boots” is his first published novel.
